Dr. Roger Birkman, PhD - Founder and Chairman
Birkman International, Inc.

After serving as a B-17 bomber pilot in World War II, Roger Birkman received his PhD from The University of Texas. Following his studies of psychology and how people relate to their careers, one another, stressful situations and the communication dynamics of groups and teams, he went on to establish Birkman International, Inc. in Houston, Texas in 1951. Today the company’s client list includes Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, educational and rehabilitation institutions and non-profit ministries.


Dr. Frank Reed Larkey, PhD
Psychological Consultant, MindSight, Inc.

Dr. Larkey has over twenty years of expertise in scientific research, product-design, and statistical analysis in both business and university settings. He provides consulting services in executive development, succession planning, organizational development, testing and assessment, knowledge management, and applied research. As a developmental psychologist, his research interests have focused on individual adult differences in the personality, human knowledge, and cognitive processes. While at the University of Houston, Dr. Larkey taught Introduction to Cognitive Psychology, Child Development, Neural Networks, Human Memory, Statistics, Introduction to Cognitive Science, and Art and Cognition. Currently, Dr. Larkey is an adjunct professor in the Professional Master of Business Administration at Houston Baptist University and conducts research at HBU, USC and SMU. He is currently a member of the American Psychological Society, American Statistical Association, the Society of Six Sigma Professional and the American Counseling Association.
